Well, it all started back in the summer/autumn of 1997, when Britelite and TeeDee were discussing some C-64 stuff. Suddenly they thought of the idea of starting their own c-64 demogroup. And so they did, and Dekadence was born.

Still, back in the autumn of 1997. At this time Jaffa, Maza and Player One joined Dekadence. And sometime in November the Zoo97 party was held in Finland. So we all headed there.

At Zoo97 we released two of Britelite's tunes, two basic-demos (one by Jaffa and one by Britelite) and a partyreport. Also at Zoo97, Chaj decided to join this lovely group.
